Arrange a Visit

Woodlands Primary School is a school that has to been seen to be believed!

Visitors to our school are regularly blown away by how warm, welcoming, productive, and hard-working we are.

We are committed to bringing the community through the doors of our school to let them see and feel what Woodlands School is like.

Nursery Open Days

We are holding open mornings this Spring for you to come and take a look at our award-winning 2-3 and 3-4 year old nurseries.

No need to book, just come along:

Thurs 18th April - 10am
Thursday 6th June - 10am

If these times are not suitable, you can always get in touch to arrange something more suitable.

Don't forget, places at our nursery are fully funded for those meeting the government criteria.

Should you have specific requirements, or would like to ensure you are able to talk to someone in a particular department, such as Special Educational Needs, please drop us an email in advance to let us know, and we'll try to make sure we can accommodate your needs.

I say to everyone how amazing my girls' new headteacher is and how much she's done for our school. She's an absolute credit to our community.

N Root, parent

Woodlands is a primary school where children are supported emotionally, socially and academically.

They have a fantastic team of teachers and support staff, led by a fabulous headteacher that all want the very best for each and every child.

Parents are encouraged to share their thoughts and feelings and the school ensures they work with families to see that all the children are happy.

K Simpson, parent

Woodlands offers a calming environment, enthusiastic teaching and constructive support.

I particularly love the “back to nature” approach and forest school.

My son is really happy here and he’s continually progressing, not just academically but socially and emotionally too.
